BShep attends Tennessee Tipoff at Smoky Mountain Speedway
Brandon Sheppard broke out his family-owned No. B5 Late Model over the weekend for the doubleheader in the Volunteer State.
Competing against 44 World of Outlaws Late Model Series entries for the Tennessee Tipoff at Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tenn.), Sheppard received in provisional into Friday's opener after missing a transfer spot by one car in his B-Main. With a $12,000 payday up for grabs, Brandon gained seven positions to finish 17th.
Saturday’s Tennessee Tipoff finale was cancelled due to severe weather threatening the area.
