Fifth-place finish in third round of Wild West Shootout

For the third round of the Wild West Shootout presented by O’Reilly on Wednesday at Vado Speedway Park (Vado, NM), Brandon Sheppard clocked in fifth-fastest in time trials before placing second in his heat. Carrying a steady pace throughout the 30-lap feature, Sheppard posted a fifth-place finish. He followed Garrett Alberson, Mike Marlar, Tyler Erb, and Earl Pearson Jr. across the line.
